Going to buy the HKS hi-power exhaust probablly this weekend
(im a fan of deep sounding exhaust)
was thinking about the new tanabe concept g.... but most likely not
Is the HKS a good idea? i saw some clips of it and i like the sound, but i havent heard them in person

P.S. - anybody built a factoryfive cobra kit car? me and my dad are thinking about it

iv heard the hk and it sounds nice and throaty id go for that. but... i think the tanable looks better. up2u tho

iv heard that they are really strait forward but the hard part is all the metal work (not body work). if you read mustangs and fords i think they are on the second/third installment of building thier ff cobra. oh, and building a fac five cobra kit car is very expensive. take it from me, iv built 1 mustang with my father and am still builing my track car 66 coupe and hit 65 gt fastback. takes alot of money.. if i wasnt building my mustang for scca racing to bump it into the shelby racing club id have put a fully built k20 in my car. god damn having two projects is intense

yeah its fun. dont think about the money man... you can always earn a shitload of it.

think about it more like this - spending time with your father building a car that you will always remember thru the good/bad times.

later on it will probly be one of your most prized possesions.
the 65 gt fastback my dad and i have been working on for 3 years is something i know i will never forget and its brought me closer to my father than ever.

I would go with Tanabe however either exhaust would be a good choice because they are both quality pieces.

Hmmm...
use the claw end of a hammer.. That's usually how I get the hangers off the rubber pieces in like junkyards where they hangers havent been moved in weeks/months/years and I havent been let down yet..
