I am sure this has come up a few times. I am putting a F20B into my 97 civic. I couldnt pass up the find. What i am having trouble finding are parts. I have been told that certain parts from different series of engines can be used. What i want to do is replace the piston rings and the bearings before i put it in the car. Can anyone help me with finding the parts or point me in the right direction.

Don't use used parts for rings and bearings. Buy new for that specific engine.

most of the parts for f20b is same the same parts for h22a from the prelude. F20b is a 85mm bore which is same as the SOHC F22b1/2. also both have 50mm main crankshaft later models had switched to bigger 55mm main crankshaft if you need new rings and bearings you can buy the bearings for sohc f22b which came in the accord
