Factory keyless remote

Hey need some help . I bought the factory keyless remote for my 97 civic but the I'm having a few problems. First is when I lock or unlock my doors ( with remote ) it will only do passenger side door but if I use the push buttons inside the car they both lock and unlock with no problems so is something wrong with the remote? And can i program the remote to open my trunk ,it dont have a trunk button just lock,unlock and panic. Ive never it the panic button yet i dont know how loud it would be lol. So can someone give me some instructions to program more things if that's possible Second , this started about 2 to 3 wks after I bought me a radar detector and programmed the remote... when I beep my horn the radar detector goes crazy as if there was a cop on my ass . I have no idea what or why that is happening. Can any one think of what's going on please. Thanks

Test the Grn/Wht and Grn/Orn wires that run between the keyless connector at the rear of the radio and the driver's door lock switch.
