$5300 is what he's asking with about 85k on the clock. It's white with 17's, but not lowered. AC apparently works, CD Player, air bags, etc....

What's a fair price for this car compared to what everone else paid? (I know what kbb says, but I'm still asking you guys.)

That sounds like a pretty reasonable price. The only bad thing about it is that its an auto but if you're planning to do a swap that doesnt matter. Sounds like a good deal man.

Yeah, the EP is a lease and will be done in about 9 months. I figure I could pick up something that the wife and I can both drive. I just really love having a hatch for lugging stuff around.

I figure I can hack a few hundred off. It looks nice enough.

Looks like a fair price, just look the car over and over, to make sure everything is straight.

i'd bring over $4500 cash and a set of steelies and tell him to keep those 17's. Once he sees the dough, you're good. White is the rarest color of the 99/00 hatches so snatch it up quick. Auto makes a good DD.

That'll be funny....

buyer - "i'll offer you $5grand.... because it's an automatic"

seller - "it's an automatic?!?!?!?!?!??! really??!?!?!?!? i had NO CLUE when i priced it at $5300, but because you brought that info to my attention i'll drop the price even though an automatic tranny RAISES the blue book value of the car."

riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight......

i just sent some people away a few mins ago because they wanted a $200 discount because the car had no stereo.....

i said "well.... if that sounds fair to you, i'll just throw a cheap stereo in and raise the price $200" :rolf: she didnt like that idea very much

she couldnt comprehend that i knew what the car is and was equipped with and priced it accordingly THE FIRST TIME

do it..say you'll take it for 4750 flat - cash upfront - reason being its an auto...no joking. and dont let him question your authority. 85k is alot if he asks...if it was 40k i wud pay the 5250 assuming its in good condition. try to use specific numbers..cause they show more reason behind them... ;)
