I guess I should have been more specific the car is running powercard and I don't want to drop the cash to go up to the K-pro and hondata. this is a daily driver so I didn't wantto put alot of boost on the motor. anyway it has an injen intake DC ceramic header and skunk2 exhaust and springs and every other suspension brace and part meagan racing sells including a new catch can. I am new to superchargers so I will let you guys steer me in the right direction to maximize my setup it is putting down 182 whp on 5 PSI right now I would like to hit 200whp and stop there. motor mounts have ben done as well and so have the brakes tell me more about pullies and what clutch you think I should get how much I should have the factory flywheel shaved I was thinking ACT for the clutch and would a water mister improve power or is there something else I can do like upgradeing the injectors and a pulley keep in mind I want to keep the car street legal and go to small SCCA events on the weekends. All advice would be greatley appreciated. I am to old to worry about beating cars in a straight line I prefer curvy roads and handling.thanks everybody. I am new to honda oldie to scions.

pulley, re-tune and maybe injectors depending on the size of the ones in there right now. since you have all the other stuff done, put a 10psi pulley on there and that should put you in the 200-220whp. which is my guess of course, but it sounds reasonable. plus if it does produce more power, then it would help you out since the new civics are heavy (thats if you have a new civic).

ok straight up Q&A can the power card be retuned if so by who I do not want to buy a kpro with hondata tuneing and then pay somone to tune it further it's just to much cash. second if it can be retuned where do I get the pulley and the belts. the car is running on stock injectors now I would have to upgrade to 550cc injectors that I can handle if the powercard can be retuned. third there is no way in this world I would ever go back to a turbo unless I was drag racing. I do not like them I like tourque and lots of it which a supercharger delivers on. the car is a 2003 hatch. I had a H22 turbo prelude with a 100 grand under the hood along time ago and after that project I decided never again turbo with a honda I had more fun in my friends supercharged crx. I already have a monster power drag car anything over 200whp in the 03 civic has problems hooking up with a supercharger so 200whp is my limit. Is there anyone that has done the jackson on tis car and knows the steps to take next.it doesn't matter hwo much horsepower you have if you cannot get it to hook up. I have an R32 for drag raceing as well as a 91 MX6 gt turbo running 17 pounds of boost. I have always had alot more fun and alot less problems with supercharged cars.this is my opinion but I stay away from turbo's if I can. so if anyone has first hand knowledge working with the supercharger setup please pass the knowledge along I am all ears.

get the j/r throttle body bored out to the size of the supercharger mani (where they meet up). If you are running on the powercard then you must have the racer kit, cause the street kit does not come with it. Kpro with a basic 3hr tune is all you need to get what you are looking for, but I have seen some guys with a CAI, bored out t/b, header and cat-back getting around 210 or a little more.. With the ep3 you can get around 300whp before you start running into problems also because of the poor crank they decided to use with it (most of the time it cannot handle high revs too). No problems with with 200hp, that is what slicks are for.

100 grand under the hood? yea I s**t golden eggs too bro

youve got all the bolt ons, a better header might pick up a bit of power but without tuning you cant maximize that power.

kpro is gods gift to the k series. if you arent gonna get k pro then you might have to settle for not much more than you have now.

if you had a honda with "100 grand under the hood" (which i highly doubt) you need to kill yourself ... I love my honda, but thats just dumb for a car you drive on the street ... but either way whatever flaots your boat

I'll look into some of the things you guys are talking about the street kit comes with the power card the racekit comes with the k-pro and hondata tune on the 2003 honda civic. As far as the H22 is concerned It was supposed to be a trailered show car but the tuner never got it right. I ended up selling the car from what I understand the guy who bought it finally got it dialed in out of state and it is running around out there. needless to say that was the end of me turboing hondas. and yes you can drop a 100 grand back then into a prelude when they first came out like it's nothing but I am not going to argue that point the car is long gone and I got taken by a shop I was 17 and had just come into inheritance after a tragedey. But thats neither here nor there. I will contact my sponsors to see if they carry any of these parts or know where to get them. this is the first honda I have owned in along time so I consider myself a newbie again. I am staying conservative with this car it's just something to have fun with like my supercharged scion XA. I would like to maximize what I have with this car cost effectivley thorugh the end of this year next year. I plan to make it a dailey driver sell the scion and the R32 and buy a lotus elise for the track. Thats the game plan. so if anyone could tell me where to get the powercard retuned and where to buy the new 10psi pulley that would be great.

ok so it went from 100k under the hood to a show car? the powercard is like a basemap sorta. It cannot be tampered with, there also might be a disclaimer saying you cannot mess with there specs or whateevr

I wasn't BSing just wasn't clear I had 100k in the car total it was a black prelude SH. I looked on powercards website they have some tuneing software available I will contact them soon to see how much it costs any ideas on where I can buy the pulley I need. 550cc injectors were shipped out by my sponsor today.

the powercard is just a piggy back for fuel control, there is no adjustment for ignition. this is not a proper tuning solution for your car. why can't your "sponsor" send you k pro.

contact hondata, they have reflashes for upgraded pulleys on your kit as well.

thanks for all the tips? ACT clutch which one or tilton which one
I will look into K-pro my sponsors do not carry k-pro they make scion parts.
is progress tech the best rear sway like they are with scions?
will water injection help at low boost levels.
