Some idiot backed into my car late last night. The passenger fron fender and a small part of the door needs to be repaired. I do not want to go throug my insuance, as that will increase my rates. Does anyone know what sort of price a body shop would charge to repair?

That's the thing, I did not see who did it; The bastard did not leave a note either. So I have no choice but to flip the bill

Sorry to hear that, crazy crap these days, maybe it was a business who had survelience cameras, did you check that out??? Thats what I would do. Next, do you have a technical school or trades school where they do body work at??? If so you can take it there and they will welcome your repair and all you will be charged is parts-----no labor. Check that out if you have something in the area or a near town. Saves some good cash and the students are always supervised by experienced teachers or bodymen.

:werd: check for cameras or something...but either way your insurance should cover it...you will have to pay a deductable but they should cover it..this happened to my friends mustang at school and he got covered...check it out, it should just cost you a deductable but just talk to your insurance

if its not bad, you can go buy a dent hammer and hammer it out. thats what i did when a damn shopping cart rolled and hit my fenders. i was piss too, it happen like 2 months after i got my car painted. its not really hard to do, i got most of the dents out and i can barely tell now, im not a professional so i couldnt do it perfect but it worked.
