i have a tripod in the trunk but really didnt need it for these pics. pics of the car wasnt the plan for the day..actually my car hasnt been washed in atleast 2-3 months. but i didnt wipe down the wheels. oh..and hard to get alot of color this time of year

and yes i do have plans to get some rims, but i dont have a job right now, got laid off. so after i get a job (if it pays better) i plan to get a drop, the HFP lip kit, then some black rims. i might the the HFP drop too..i dunno

Shots seem a little bland. When you're getting wheels.. I wouldn't rule out non-black wheels. Black may look like steelies on asm.

they prob look bland because of winter colors..there was no sun out too cloudy. and i didnt photoshop them.

ive thought about the black wheels looking like steelies. but i dont really care, i want black wheels. and i plan on like a 5 spoke so you can easily see the brakes behind it

Your current wheels will prob look better than black ones depending on what you get. If you want 5 spokes and are determined on black, I wouldnt shoot down meister s1's. But TBH some type s wheels would rock on your car. I also think that if you put the ambers back in it would help out.

i cant afford work rims, nor would i want to, thats WAY too much money for rims. i also thought about the typeS wheels, hard to find them for a good price..what do they average for? and of course id get the powdercoated black. i hated the orange in the headlights. im getting rid of everything that isnt black or silver on the car, that includes the chrome. i cant do anything about the chrome in the lights though, and im not getting some cheap ebay lights either. nor spending a grand on retros

yeah it does. i dont PS my pics to add color like 90% of people do and then they act like they didnt touch it.

but about the car. yeah my hood has alot of rock chips on it that are starting to rust, and someone around me has an ASM hood i can buy from him if it turns out bad. but i think itll look good. and i do like his rim suggestions. but again i cant afford works. if i could afford rims that cost over $3000 i would have a different car.

Work wheels don't cost $3,000. Depends what wheels you buy. You can get away with brand new Work wheels/tire for under $2,000 easily.

In addition, his advice was get RSX-S wheels, not to go and powder coat them black..... which you want to do. Which I've seen and didn't feel it looked that great, looks fine stock. Granted it's your car and you should ultimately do what ever it is that you feel makes your car stand out... just that the route your going will make your car look bland (like your pics )

Think of this way, you goal is to go completely silver/black (for whatever reason) which provides NO contrast at all (hence the bland pictures) is the equivalent to black/white television. Then they came out with color TV, hence the need to keep a lil color contrast on an ASM (i.e. no dark taillights or cleared corners).

Anyway... in the end, as long as you do what makes you happy, rock out bro

p.s. - photoshop is a tool, USE IT! That's why people's pictures look good - that's why there is a process called "post production"

tell you what, get together an extra grand and ill gladly buy some works. i see what you mean with no contrast. but i just dont really like the silver car with silver rims. and how is that adding color? an extra shade of silver? lol cmon

and yes, i will do what i want with it. just be glad im not putting on a giant spoiler on it or something stupid. btw...i just got an Si grille to put on it prob be on this weekend.

and PS is not why people pics look good. my pictures arent going in a magazine or anything yet. but im still learning PS and sometimes i do like to touch up a pic or 2.
