First civic

Hey people, just picked up my first civic. It's a 92 hatch. D15. Auto but its my daily. My project is a 91 prelude with 4ws. The civic is salvaged but had the engine rebuilt a year ago. It was only $900!!!!! No leaks. I got it from my girlfriends coworker. Engine runs strong. Tranny is a little rough. I actually feel like a Honda owner now since its a popular car. You don't get respect from Honda people driving my prelude.

Plans are to restore the faded paint. I wanna paint the top black. I did a decent job painting parts of the lude with a rattle can but I have a hvlp spray gun and a compressor and I wanna practice on the hatch as I restore it. Replace the hood, bumper, and fenders. I hope the body isn't twisted so the new panels line up. It needs a new side view mirror and one side of the window trim. Maybe lower it. I just want it looking clean. I just have resist putting all my money into it and keep it going to the lude. There's so much aftermarket for it compared to the lude.

That's great advice. I know most would do that as it is the more sensible choice. But I've been trying to build this lude for awhile and I'm very stubborn so I gotta finish it. Even though the civic has way more aftermarket support and is a lot more mod friendly.
