first honda ever! its an Si

just bought a 96 honda civic jdm Si . the car is actually an ex but has all the si body parts and has a 99 jdm b16 engine with a type r head. my issue is....the guy i bought it from used the stock ex wiring harness on the b16 engine. and its running the stock p2p ecu but he also gave me th si p2t ecu but it doesnt plug up . i need some help so if anyone can help me out that would be great

more info on ecu problem is the car running now with the ex one?

if its a 99 engine in your 96 that means your running a obd2b engine in a obd2a car. im pretty sure you can find a conversion or step down harness so you can plug your obd2b ecu into your obd2a engine harness. sure hope that helps out and welcome!

yamaha i did alot of research and found out that was my problem . thanks for the tip im either going to find a step down harness or im gonna run obd1 with a chipped ecu!
