Ok, Im starting to gather up boost parts for my D16Y7. I know enough about a motor to build my own setup. What I DONT know, is what size turbo I need, what injectors I need, oil lines, ect. But, for now Im going to start gathering all of the parts I need (turbo, IC, piping, oil lines, ect.). Im looking to get between 200-250whp when Im done. I know I'll need aftermarket internals, so Im looking at Vitara pistons, but have no idea what rods I want. So, any suggestions are more than welcome. :D

Fuel Rail?

I was wondering if I should get a new Fuel rail/Fuel regulator before I install a turbo

negative on the fuel rail unless youre planning on pushing more than 450hp. you should get a regulator only if you upgrade your fuel pump. otherwise its unecessary

stock block is good to about 220whp.. ive ran mine for a while at that power not till i overboosted to 20+ psi my stock y7 blew.. if you want to build get eagles and vitars since u want low hp
get a .42.48 t3 vovlo turbo one fo the smallest t3s they make maxes out at about 250whp

440cc blue top dsm injectors are good for 300whp u can find them on ebay for under 75$

as for oil lines goto www.stealthmodeperformance.com and put in the type of turbo you get 14g t3 t4 gtseries whatever .. his kits are 80bucks shipped ive used 3 since i had my car no complinats and his shipping is super fast he even sent me another drain flange for free because for some reason my gt turbo had a off the wall flange size on the drain.. awesome guy to do business with plus u get a cool sticker haha

any other questions pm me .. if u want a good piping kit look up SRE piping kits on ebay he usually only sell a few ata time so u gotta get them quick its what i use and i havent had a charge pipe blow off since i switched.. they arent cheap though 180 bucks about... but it fits perfect no cuttin and it has rolled ends

for good cheap 4 ply silicon couplers and t bolt clamps look up silicon intakes on ebay they sale good quality for 1/4 of the price of others..

get some good engine management and you will be fine.. hondata s300 crome whatever u want just get it tuned by a PROFESSIONAL..

but before u go rebuilding ur motor u CAN make 220whp safely for years to come with a good tune

also ebay wastegates work fine i use one on my 11 second setup been using it over a year on 3 diff setups works fine and only 45 bucks u can beat that

if u do plan on boosting the stock motor do a compression check on it before u boost it.. make sure the numbers are within 10% of each other.. 180 across the board is about perfect for a normal healthy honda

if u have below 160 id say ur motor wont last long and tell you to rebuild a block on the side
