Hello,
I picked up a 98 Civic non-vtec DX hatchback bone stock for gas mileage reasons, its done an excellent job of that. Now I'm thinking about swaping the 106 bhp engine to something with a little more power. Ultimately I would like a light, naturally aspirated, fun, light, reliable engine somewhere around the 200 bhp area. I'm not sure what's the best route to go engine/trans wise so I figured this would be a good place to start researching. I will be doing the swap myself so straight forward would be good and don't want to spend a lot, around 5k give or take would be good. This car will still be daily driven but I might road course it once in a while. Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks
