Flip Flop Trunk 98 coupe

i got bored...and was watchin Tv....Tricked out came on Spike Tv....and they had an EM1 on there...they put lambo doors on it....and a Flip Flop Trunk..so i was like wtf....reminder...i was bored hahaha so i went to the Hardware store....cost me total of $5.75.....haha tell me what you think.....its weird...but its alright...something new....sorry about the dark picture...but ya get the point....and by the way...d series ...still blown....haha parts still for sale....only thing in that engine bay right now....block and trans....

Its in the way just the same as the original way the trunk opens is. Its just up and out of the way compared to the stock way. That way you dont hit your head on the trunk when trying to work in it/get stuff outta it.

There's just brackets you can buy and hook em up to do this. Nothing special.

But personally, I don't like it.

yea i went to store and bought 2..4inch hinges....12 self tapping screw...12 flat washers...2 bolt locks...

the trunk opens normally ...undo the locks....and lay it flat....i think its pretty interesting to look at....my dad was like ...i'll put an acuator on it and make it open with a button...i was like i dunno about that...but for now...its cool
