Hey guys i'm gonna boost my gsr and built my kit myself (should save me alot of money) i'm only going to run 6-7 pounds tops....everyone is telling me at those levels i should be fine w/ stock compression....but what should i go w/ a fmu or bigger injectors....i'm thinkin fmu but because it increases fuel pressure i'm just worried about somethin becoming over pressurized. What do u think i should go w/.

Eventually you are going to max out your injectors. So I say injectors. Plus I dont like FMU's. FMU's were the s**t back in day. Just get a piggyback system, aka APEXi VAFC to control the injectors. Plus there is a lot more you can manage with it.

Personally I like the APEXi unit. Everyoen says no to it but thats becasue they really dont know much about it and rely on other peoples knowledge.

Otherwise get a chipped ecu or a standalone. Standalone is the best especially in teh long run.

get yoyself som 440 and a nice standalone or piggyback system. You can go cheap like me and just chip your ECU, or be like returnoftheking and follow his quote "I can afford cheap parts"

Injectors and an SAFC 2 (if you're on a budget). SAFC's are cake to use, plus the ver. 2's feature a knock reading (which with boost, you WILL want). If you find tuning to be too challenging, then buy a wideband on top of that.
