Hello all. I'm new to the site and to civics. But not to performance. I have a 650awhp GMC Sierra C3. Looking at getting a 92-95 civic coupe to have another toy for the wife. Looking forward to learning the import aspect of racing and performance.

It has a lq4 6.0L, p&p heads, cam, longtime headers, ory, and 4" exhaust, built 4l80e trans, circle d 3400 stall converter, procharger d1-sc, 12 psi, meth injection and a few other small upgrades

Lol. Thanks. It took me about 5 years to build it. Ran a 11.98@ 113 in Tucson last February. Not bad for a 5400lb brick. Lol

Thanks on the compliments on the truck. It sure has come a long way. The new motor should be going in soon. I'm getting a welder after tax return and I'm going to build a turbo kit for it. Hoping for about 650awhp. And build my current motor to a 408ci with forged internals and aim for the 1k awhp mark. And I want a civic than can somewhat keep up. A hard task I know but I know it can be done

DAT TRUCK. Damn, man.

You've definitely got the knowledge, so jumping into the Honda game should be cake for you. The motors are simple and straight forward, very easy to mod, and there's a huge aftermarket community for them. 600whp is rough, but can be done with deep enough pockets. Go K series with it! That platform has massive potential, and a big aftermarket swap market, making parts easy to get.

Looking at the Eastwood mig 175a with the spool gun attachment for alumium. The honda will be a weekend cruiser/track vehicle
