If it's just an aesthetic (Lip, valance, fog-light, tail light, etc; ) and doesn't affect performance. Then go ahead and freaking get it, the only 2 things you'll be chancing are 1) fitment & 2) lack of genuineness
It's a Honda Civic for peeps sake, it's an eco-car with a huge aftermarket, spend smart. If you're not trying to impress any show judges, or anything then get Ebay, you'll save hundreds.
When it comes to performance however, like I/H/E, Turbo, N/A etc; the only parts that can safely be cheaped out are
1) Intake piping
2) Turbo kit except for the manifold & turbo itself which can be rebuilt with better internals
3) 100% name-brand parts that are just distributed cheaply, no knock-offs.
4) etc; etc; etc;
Reason is, performance is also reliability, aesthetics are just comfortability.
