Ok i just put this in here cauz i didnt know where else to put it....but I was wonderin if someone could help me with a question about installin my fog lights.....Im in the process of it right now, and I was wondering if it would be bad if i eliminated the switch and attached the fuse wire straight to, lets say my corner, or headlight power. I know my foglights have to be off when my highbeams are on tho, so the corners arent a good idea in that sense...but in an electrical sense can anyone help me please???

PS I already have my halos tapped into my corners

Would having it wired to your corners make the fog lights blink?

this would be very bad and very GAY!

if u attached it to the turn signal, it would blink.

if you grounded it to the ground constand turn signal, they would come on when the the turn signals came on but they wouldnt blink on turns.......IMO still gay.

and the headlights.........thats just gay.

how about leave it with the switch, the way there were inteded to be.

That was my original plan, but i was in a hurry cauz it was gonna rain and i couldnt get the wires thru the firewall, its crowded as hell goin thru there, but i decided to wait and leave it on the switch anyways....im gonna actually take the time to do it right 2morrow....thanks for the help....and side "gay" comments were greatly appreciated as well haha

I do have one question tho...how is attaching them to the headlights gay....i mean i can see the corners bein kinda gay or watever...but i mean the headlights.....they'll come on with the headlights, go off with them, turn off when the high beams are one....its actually quite practical....

It is always best to hook up the fog lights to your headlights or parking lights. That way you can't run the battery down by leaving them on accidently. It's not gay. Car manufacturers do this all the time.

hooking them up to the headlights would be fine, i wouldnt tho, i like to roll with just my fogs alot of times, thats just me, it looks sweet, and im not sure how itd work out when you turned on your high beams, they might get more voltage or somthing, and start your car on fire lol

haha, i duno if its jolly or not, but i think just havin ur fogs on looks pretty nice too, thats y i was thinkin bout hookin them up to the corners. But if ya attach it to the right headlight wire theres no worries of fire haha, ur headlights turn off when ur highbeams go on, so ur fogs would too. At least im pretty sure....hope i dont blow up if i do it that way

Im gonna go back at it 2morrow as long as its not raining. If i can get the wires thru the firewall im just gonna use the switch, but if not then ill hook them up to the corners or headlights. Either way ill be happy

I guess you never went to check that out. The honda dealer around here charges 4 hours of labor to do this job. There are enough DIY threads along with wiring diagrams to make this job a breeze (as long as you have the right tools)
