Fogs to headlights?!?!

I've searched and found nothing...I've found the instructions to installing and wiring the fogs with a switch, but what I am hoping to do is to have the fogs wired through the headlights so that when my driving lights come on, so do my fogs. Is this just wishful thinking? Has somedone this? If so, does someone have a good write-up?

I had some installer try to wire them to the headlights, but they were getting nothing but sparks and blown fuses. They're pretty sure it's possible, but they think they're missing one/two steps to complete the wiring.

Any help would be great!! Thanks.

That's how mine apparently were meant to be. I wired them up so they're independent though. =)
I still have my directions, but they're in straight Engrish. Sorry. :what:

on your car, there's a stock harness built into the car and the fusebox. if your kit doesn't come with it, then it's not meant to be that way.

You should be able to t-tap the driving light's + and run that to a relay to run your fogs.

Without the relay you are going to blow the fuse, probably even with only 50W fogs...def w/ 100W

yeah, I've got the switch, but I'm trying to "bypass" that extra step and have the fogs come on (along with the driving lights) when you rotate your lightswitch.

There was a relay that came with the kit...and I sure hope to hell they were trying to use it...I even knew that!

They tell me that maybe one of the lights my have a bad switch on the lights itself???

The harness is a one-wire connector that's taped to your frame behind your washer fluid resiovior. It's a brown plug. And it connects directly to the in-cabin fuse box.

Sound like I should just do it the way God intended...plain 'n simple.

And here's another question...in the instructions they ask that you only use genuine honda halogen bulbs...I've got silverstars, why would that make any diffrence? The amount of power a different bulb might put out??

Silverstars have the same power draw as stock bulbs. They're a stock replacement.
