for folks with an aftermarket ebrake handle

im trying to put on some ebrake handle on my dx but the outer housing is hard plastic-ish and made it hard to cut off with even a razor blade....any ideas on how to remove/cut this part out?....

I think you have to use a dremel. I can't remember if there is any screw that you have to take out first or whatn0t.
