I mean, 90% of the "JDM" blang-blangers out there are buying it solely for the purpose its "JDM". Not to mention its for looks. IE. body kits, lights, fenders with side markers, steering wheels, clusters, seats, etc etc.

Or buying a 1200$ spoon CF hood when you can get a better quality one for 600$? For the spoon logo? :what: Come on.

So why does everyone buy into this craze? Why not just make your own car the way you like it AND actually put some money into performance?

Anyone able to explain this? Besides for "it's that mad tyte JDM style that makes p*ssy wet" (<== ebay quote)

well it's the fact that the parts are not as easily obtainable as say for example apc (the cheep stuff). the reason why most people fix up there car is for respect and to stand out from the people doing it half assed. personnaly i don't have the $$ to go all out in jdm, (although that is a dream i have) and am cool with alott of us brands. you do what you can.

BTW: JDM is in no way rice! just because alot of people have the right idea, dosn't mean it's rice.
