Found water in my boot

Hi,

Just opened my boot up, to get hold of my jack, and found a little pool of water around the spare wheel.

I have a 98 civic Hatch, all the seals look to be intact, and have no idea where the water could be coming from, have had nothing with water in the booto its not leaked out of anything.

Any ideas??

did you take the honda symbol off from the back of your trunk? are the 2 little holes still there and did it rain lately? any rubber gromet plugs gone frm your trunk?

clean it up. pour water over the top of the trunk. see if water still pours. seems odd water would leak. do you have a spoiler?

nope no spoiler as such, just the one that comes with the car from new, have cleaned up the water thond will keep an eye on it.

Just wondered if this was something that happened alot, that was all

when i bout my hatch i found water coming in around the passenger tail light, pulled it out resealed it with some sticky rubber type stuff around the light and no more leak.
