I just got this free headunit and i was wondering does this fit in a 2000 civic dx?

they run for about 6 - 20 bucks depending where you get em .. walmart prolly sells em for 6 bucks .. or you can go to the local audio shop but they prolly charge a lil bit more

How much do they run for?

If you have a 98+ civic and you have the harness from the 01, it should work. But if you have pre-98 then the 01 harness will not work. You will also need the mounting kit.

Yes you will need a mounting kit, that's most likely if you've never took out the stock stereo before than yeah you do, if you haven't.

ok i got this blue thingy from bestbuy that connect to the indash.
as they say, it should come with the wire harness from the cd player that i have.
I even went to another system place and they told me u will never find that wire in any store only at the company that the wire i needed.
but they say i could cut it, but im a noob
