free performance gains?

well, im flat ass broke and cant get a job, and im a junior in high school, and im looking to do a few little go fast mods on my D15B7. So far i have ghetto rigged an intake with a checker filter, and removed my power steering belt for a few more hp at the wheels. Does anyone know of any other cheap or free mods i can do for a few hp or tq? thanks in advance

an intake is about the best youre gonna do, aside from getting that tiny pea cannon of an exhaust muffler off and putting a true JDM grapefruit launcher on there... just any universal muffler will do.... or just cut the muffler off

I second that. People who cant afford real mods so they throw chrome wheel covers and stickers all over the place. Spend the money and do it right or dont do it at all. I know this is impossible for some people, but it's the way it should be.

oh.....emmisions i keep forgetting some people's states have those....lol this state is redneck as hell.....there are no emmissions and the db law is loosly enforced

sell ur car and get a cheaper one then use taht mula for car parts

you can tighten your throttle cable for a little better response. do this VERY CAREFULLY and while your car is idling. it will take 2 10mm wrenches. dont tighten it so much that changes your idle AT ALL or your car will start to idle up and down after a while. if you have any friends who are mechanically inclined have them do it for you.

its a 92 lx ... i know i would rather drive around a stock 5th gen than a slightly modded 4th gen ... he aint gonna get that much money to be able to do s**t to it by sellin it anyway and he will probably come out even and have a shittier car cause of registration and all the s**t you gotta get when you sell / buy cars.

Besides, his car sounds tight with the mods he has done so far.
