From when he bought it, to its rather quick demise
So Friday me and a friend went up to miami, bought this guys crx for $2500 and waited for him to get a new windshield installed ($0) and do some final checks on known problems (almost all were good 2 go).
Started driving home, got about 35-45 miles, battery dies when we pull into a wallgreens lot.
Guy in a van jumps it, and we're off. 5-10 miles later, battery dies ( known alternator probelm), so we speed back to discount (back by walgreens) and get there 5 minutes before they close.
Sped back to his car, dropped in the new battery, and he was able to get home.
Next morning I get a call......no more CRX. So I'm thinking sold it, or crashed it..........
He was hanging right next to a 2006 RSX Type-S with intake & exhaust when he missed 3rd gear. He pulled over and said he wants to run again...which is when he noticed smoke behind the guages. Grabbed money, paperwork, id, and disconnected battery....flames started. Burned for about 15-20 minutes and that's what's left
Having a helluva time getting it on the trailer (1.5 hours) to take it back to miami
donut convention up the road
Got it to the guys shop, and he was damn near crying when he saw it
Off the trailer, looking like a piece of s**t, when we hear "wanna take the motor out?"
30 Minutes later, everything is ready. All that's left is unbolt the motor mounts and drop it in its new home
