'98 GSR that hasn't been washed since October. He recently dyno'd at 285whp @ 13psi.

Didn't take any motor shots yesterday. If you want, I can dig some up, but they're night shots.

I'm also not sure exactly what all is done to it. I know it started as a GReddy kit, then grew into lots of other s**t, internal work, etc etc. 285 is alright, but I would've thought it should be putting down more for what he's got :what:

285 is pretty good for a greddy setup.

but for some reason it just sounds low for having more than $5,000 in the motor :what:

here's the shitty night pics i have of it when he finally got the motor back from cali after getting built....8 months after he sent it out

who knows :what:

exterior is clean, interior could be cleaner, and engine bay needs the most TLC.

the engine pics were from about 4 months ago though, so im hoping its been cleaned since then. That and when I got there, he was only about to finish the outside. Hadn't even started on the interior.....if he even did it :???:

Well with a tune set for 15psi he could easily hit over 300HP on pump gas, because Im guessing the 285 was on pump gas...? But the problem is (if I remember correclty) with the the greddy equiped turbo he is going to max it out at 300HP or 15psi

He needs another Valve cover, to pull that engine bay together.

whats the tourqe specs?? my friend dynoed his gsr and got 280hp and 280ft lbs tourqe. but it was no greedy setup, it was a turbonetics setup.

wow....280 hp is WEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i would say after 5k has been dumpped into the motor. I would expect it to break at least the 300hp mark, especially when shooting 14 psi. a turbo d can make that kinda of power at 14psi after less than 5k is dumpped into it. If you don't believe, check out Feb. issue of DragSport mag. features a turbo d hatchie.
