Friends new Scion Tc, clean!!

My buddy got this as a graduation gift, he traded in his Dodge Dakota for a down payment and got this. Its awsome. Comftorable interior, sharp looking car, good power. He wants to lower it, tints, exhaust, and new rims. I say keep the stock ones theyre sharp. Any input for his ideas? Anyways here are pics!

Girls car Anyways, some nice 18's a slight drop maybe some tint. Keep it clean and simple.

My girl has one. No joke I beat a 2000 SI with exhaust, intake. Just to prove he didn't mess up we did 3 runs. Me beating him everytime. Not a bad starting platform.

TC look good....But I don't think they can be made very fast......not sure though.

2.4L, 9.5:1 Compression. ITs a nice engine from the factory to boost cuz of the looow compression. check a few forums-
I raced a silver TC with and exhaust and mosty likey an intake from a digg a few weeks ago. I have sliping clutch too witch sucks...(im exaderating, its not that horrible, but I can feel it abit)..This chick who was driving, yes a chick, dumped the clutch and took off on a dime, she had me in my 99 si (intake) till the end of second then I pulled on her till the end of fourth. I took the lead by a car and that was that. She chirped second almost perfectly if you know what I mean, she was a pretty good driver id say better than the average dork with a riced out civic

Before I got my civic I wanted a TC, but I couldn't get a big enough loan to buy one... I think they're nice as hell...

While the SC is nice you're looking at 3k plus installation, I'd rather get the turbo kit, my buddy had one w/ a turbo, it was quick as hell tile he totalled it drifting in a parking lot this winter

Toyota sells the TRD Turbocharger for it for about $2500. They even install it at the dealership.

yeah for like another $1500... they rip you off. I seen the instructions on installing the S/C its easy but unless the dealer does it you void your warranty

i saw one at a car show "Drop Jaw Mag" here in Richmond, and they were selling Scions there cuz they were one of the sponsors, they started to open the lanes to have cars run, so everyone heads over there. a scion TC pulls out and does a burn out to "warm up the tires" and we watch in awe as this 170HP(maybe more) 2.4L automatic beast with an intake and exhaust run an astonishingly high 16. . . . he was announced and everything the first car to run. . . . needless to say he tried 2 more times and couldn't even touch low 16's. . . i felt embarrassed for him

I see 2 issues here... Automatic and he was probably a bad driver....

tc's r ok i wouldnt get one cuz i see too many of them here in houston they r everywhere. If i were to get a scion it would be a tc...I do see a lot of girls driving them but i wouldnt quite call it a girl car. (Toyota celica is the only car that i stand ground on sayin is a girls car). I dont car for a lot of the guys i see drivin them here cuz they think they r badass and try race. I'd kill them now in my fg2 but i just had to put up with them in my dpfi ED R those stock tails? they looked aftermarket, no really feeling them. Thumbs up to ur friend. A new car is a good feeling.
