So you're making a car look like a car that's already made?

I'd use a teggy type r front end, and teggy type r back light conversion too

in a sense yeah but if you notice the 94 and 98 rear ends are just a touch different i like the more round look of the 94 but i also like the 98 front end because of the bigger lights and the grill. i know it sounds rediculous but trust me i really think this car is gonna go a long ways ive been doing alot of research. ill post pics as i go but im having a money issue at the moment

It is a little more work than you expect. If I remember correctly the actually front end of a 6th gen is wider than a 5th gen. I expect you are going to have alignment issues but I say go for it. The worst thing that could happen is cant do it and have to sell the front end. If you want to be really cheap. You can go to www.certifit.com and get most of the parts you need. There is one in Salt Lake City if you wanted to drive and save on shipping.

LH and RH Fender: $60
Hood: $79
Bumper: $37
Bumper reinforcement bar: $26
Raditor Support: $48
Headlights: $92.00

Just remember if you go cheap you will more than likely be flamed because the parts are not genuine Honda.

I have seen it done with a 99-00 front end. Looks good when done properly but it's hard to pull off. If I remember correctly the fenders and such have to be cut apart then welded back together when formed properly.

Some old info. May be of some help...

the white one looks like a hack job, the red one looks like time was really spent on it.
OP, if you do it right, you'll have a car that not alot of people have and would look sick, I agree, I like the 6th gen front ends(the 99-00) better than the 5th, but it's really got to be done properly.
I agree with Honda9206, go with certifit parts, yeah their not genuine honda but really who can tell the difference by just looking at it? and if you f**k up, you'll have saved yourself a bunch of money. I was looking at a 00 front end conversion for a buddy who has a 97, and if you go with certifit, you can get everything for just under 300, that's not the Si though cause I don't think they have that, but it's just the grill, you could get a new grill from honda or ebay...or even craigslist.
Good luck, and just know, your taking on a big project so do a lot of research and know what your getting into. also if you don't have any experiance with body fabrication you probably won't succeed since it's not like just swapping the parts out like doing a 96-98 front to a 99-00 front.

Instead of going with certifit you can always just get cheap stuff at a junkyard if you are going to be painting and doing body work on it anyway.
