i just installed my jdmshit.com type r lip this morning

go to autozone, or some automotive store...and get 3M double sided tape. You will also need four self tapping screws.

jack the front of your car up, ALWAYS use jack stands. its just easier to access everything this way. Also make sure you have a friend handy to help you make everything fit perfect.

test fit the lip first, then put some of the tape on the inside of the lip where it touches the bumper. (mine was right in the middle area). Once you've lined everything up, take off the other side of the tape, and stick it on.
Next, get some c-clamps, or some kind of grip handles, vice grip whatever. Clamp the middle of the lip onto the bumper just for added rienforcement. Next go onto the sides of the car, where you lined up the lip all around.

Drill two holes in a vertical pattern on the very edge of the fenderwell where the lip has like an L-flange. Make sure you dont press to hard, or not hard enough. This should make a very secure hold. Then do the same thing on the other side.

Next, let the clamps sit for awhile, so the glue can stick thoroughly. Take off the clamps later, and voila.

took me about an hour, i have a 97' DX

why wouldnt u just take off ur front bumper than attach the lip that way, this way u dont have to go under the car with the jacks and schtuff

I would say leaving it on the car keep the bumper straight and level. If you put it on before you put in on the car, the bumper may flex and throw your mounting points off.

exactly, when the bumper is on the car it doesnt have as much flex to it. Thus, making it easier to mount the lip and get a better look to see if it is mounted correctly and evenly.

taking the bumper off would probably be more work than just putting the car on jackstands anyhow, but thats just me.
