Front or Rear?

Hello all...i got these gold line spring for my 95 civic but they didin't come saying which was the front and which was a rear..i did do some searches but didn't come up with any def. answers...can you all tell me which should go where before i install them thanks a bunch!

u remember what type of drop you wanted to get from them when u bought them.

The one on the left looks like it may fit the front. The right seems like for the rear. Again, Im just taking a guess based on how the coils look like. It could be all even drop all around btw...

im with ^^. left looks like its for the front. i just changed mine, although they were teins, the way u could tell is that the rears had a flat part on one of the ends. (does that make sense)

whats the number on the springs??? i am sure you can uncode that or call the company or somthing

you've got it backwards, I've got the same springs on my civic, the ones on the right are for the front, the ones on the left are for the rear. I had mine done by an install shop while I was overseeing. Notice when you look at the one on the right how the spring is more evenly spaced and thicker. The other ones spring is narrower and spacing varies between coils, but yes, on these springs its an even drop all the way around

Yea, now that I rethink about it, the thicker/stiffer coils compensate for the front being heavier than the rear.

plus it was pretty easy with mine, I had tags on mine to say which was which, otherwise I wouldn't have known for sure either

thicker coils are for the front to make up for more weight from the engine.
