front turn signal bulbs

im thinking of buying new front bulbs for my turn signal. what is the bulb number? im thinking its either 1156 or 1157. anyone know what exactly it is?

im getting some clear bulbs but when it lights up, it lights up amber. it looks clean, and still street legal. someone i know bought some 2 weeks back on ebay for about 7bucks.

basically what I did. the clear one's basically look the same as the stock headlights. I threw in some cheapie hyper white ones and now the turn signals look slightly amber now compared to the headlights

I have all of my lights matching, heads, turnsignals, and sidemarkers. All are hyper whites. I did get pulled over a year and a half ago cuz some cop was lookin for an excuse to pull me over. So, he choose my white sidemarkers. Said they had to be amber. No ticket but a warning to fix them. Got online found they can be white, never changed them and haven't had any problems since.

Ya I have some hyper whites in my turn signals and have never had a problem with police..they have even been behind me when I signaled.....I think as long as they bliink and you arent doing something stupid, you are okay...Clear signals look MUCH cleaner than stock amber though

Yeah, to add...it's 1157. And I did the same thing, put some cheap hyper-whites on the turn signals, my only beef is that when they are on just the parking lights they are not as bright as my regular lights, but light up the same when the signal is on! I think there's a way to have your parking light match your headlights and then have them flash when you turn, but I don't know how to do that!

And cops usually don't give a s**t, unless they're having a really bad day or they pull you over for something totally different and just start scanning your car for everything illegal! Stay away from anything besides amber and white though, and maybe red(since a lot of cars have part of their tail break lights flash when they turn!?
