Gas Smell

So i Have a 93 Civic DX and i replaced the fuel pump soon after i got the car because it was having trouble starting. Well, that fixed the starting issue but now every time i fill it up, and roll down the windows i smell gas. Its not inside the car and i had a mechanic friend look at it and he just replaced the clamps and said it was fixed. Can anyone Help!!!!???

Check for leak in the fuel line that runs for the pump to the filter.

Did he charge you for this^ work?

maybe your fuel cap need replacement...
