first you would need to figure out what components the pinouts go to on your harness in your 91 hatch. it would be a good idea to label these wires. second you need to figure out on your new cluster what color wires match the same components as your hatch and label those wires. you would find all this information in the service manual. after you figure out what matches what from both harnesses you need to splice and rewire them together. if your new cluster requires an electric vss you would need to swap out your old speedo "cable" for a new "electric" vss that has three wires it has a orange black and yellow red i think. not sure. you would need to run the one of those cable to the wire that corresponds with the with the speedometer and splice another wire that runs to the ecu. then ground the black and i believe the yellow red is power. i'm sorry if none of this makes much sense. i'm not so good at explaining things out. i would be of much more help if i was in person. i suggest you do some research on it so you can get a better idea on how this works and a better understanding from someone who is good at writing up directions or something. this might sound weird but i'm 17. although i'm young i've been doing research about this for almost 7 months now and if yo come apon any write ups or something that helps you out a lot would you mind posting a link?

here is some i used

i would advise you to double check your pinouts and label them yourself if you know how to read a wiring diagram and have the service manual. the si harness has around 20 wires running to the cluster and if you use a 94-97 gsr cluster it has about 40+
