Glove bix will not open 98 civic dx

Unfortunately it might have been the way you arranged things in there and it probably doesn't want to open because something is stuck. I would say try to get something flat like a ruler and try to prod in there if there's any space for you to put in the ruler.

You're on your own with this one. Nothing we can really do. It's a hands on thing.

Remove the two 8-mm lower glove box bolts. The rear side will drop down and probably allow you to remove the glove box.

Didn't get me anywhere. Somehow I need to pull the latch that opens it. It needs replacing. I see where it broke inside. When the handle is lifted, whatever it pulls, it broke away from it.
