How do you upgrade a bolt-on?
Don't take this the wrong way, but you have not researched enough. There are as many threads about this setup as there are short ram vs CAI.

upgraded bolt ons... get better ones.. and dont take this the wrong way but since when are forums full of assholes that only post mart ass answers.. i know how to do it and ive read plenty of old forums on how to do it.. Keyword there is old.. IF you have no good advice to give why post? Goes for you and everyone else... You wont post to help but everyone post smartass comments
What exactly are your questions lsvs are a pretty old and common setup now
Get the lsvtec kit from a good place g.e etc etc weld or tap and plug your oil port in the head, arp headstuds and a good header and intake manifold + tune

Actually I gave you the best advice there is on learning how to do something, do it your f**king self. After that, welcome to the internet young lady because the internet (especially car forums) has been full of smartasses for decades. Third, so what if a write-up is old, you think the procedure is any different now? I've helped more people through issues than 95% of this forum, and point people in the right direction when needed (which is what I did with you). Feel lucky you aren't on a hardcore car forum, as your thread would of been deleted and you would of got a PM from a mod telling you to learn how to search before posting another unnecessary thread topic.

Dude ive been on pleny of car forms an di know how to do the set up.. My question was just what do soem of you suggest on as far as changing fuel pumps and water pumps.. yes i have read other forums that they what they did and ive asked tons of people with different set ups what they run and all that.. Is it wrong to want some more feed back from people that have the same car as me and was has given them success recently??? I dont think so!
