Going w/ the cheap stuff

Allow me to give you the synopsis of my situation. I think I have pretty descent CD player on my car, its one of those Sony XPLOD. Let me tell you something, those things are piece of crap! So, here I am in the market of buying a new deck for my car. First, I thought of getting a DVD player maybe, preferrably double DIN. Well, I work for a living with the government and I dont get paid that much. I know how expensive those system can get. So, I started looking around on ebay. Yeah I know... tough life, I can't afford a system with popular brands. With that being said, I would like to get your opinion on purchasing a DVD player on ebay. Or if you recommend anything that can match my budget.

As of now, I'm kinda interested on this...

Let me know your opinion on this...

Also, I have a quick question on this unit. On the back, as the image shows below, I was wondering how do I connect my car's wiring harness to the system? I thought it would be plug and play... If you see the slot for a harness where it says "power", is that were I can connect the wiring harness? I mean like the power, speakers, etc... Or do these systems come with specific or different wiring harnesses?

that looks like crap, its from ebay, and u get what u pay for. u wanna go cheap? get one of those seprate car dvd players with the separate tvs, i payed 500 for 3tvs and a dvd player, it was through a hookup but im sure u can find somthing simillar for a good price

If you are getting it from e bay, just make sure that you get it from a place that has a warranty. There are places out there.

I think any double din monitor looks great when installed.

and when it comes to crap, thats a very subjective word. I think audiobahn is crap, but people love em.

This unit looks like it is going to be a plug and play. You are just going to wire up a honda harness, plug it into you car and done

theres a good brand that is not that bad but better then that one its called valor. they make a double din... not bad... runs about 400 bucks or so .. i have a alpine im trying to get rid of brand new.. if you wanna look at that ... anyways check out valor ... www.valordvd.com i think that sthe site
