Good brand or not?

I was wondering if a xs power 48 trim t3 turbo is a good turbo for an ls teg and is it a good brand or not?Thanks

its an ok brand.....look into Garrett there more reliable.....how much psi are you lookin to run....that turbo will prolly only run up to 15 psi.....good luck

So it is a good brand? I was just making sure it was not an e bay turbo. Its going to go in my girls ls teg i was just wondering if it was ok cause her car has 155k miles but everything is good on it. We have never had any problems with it or a check engine light on. And we have all the previouse maintenance records.We came across this set up for 1300 and i was gong to grab it i just wanted to know what you all think so here it is......

blox ac & pc compatable manifold
tial 38 mm wastegate polished w/10 psi spring
blox wastegate elbo
big downpipe
big intercooler piping
30x12x3 front mountpolished intercooler
golden eagle vacum manifold
450cc injectors on a b18b fuel railw/res. box
xs power 48 trim t3 turbo
oil return line
oil pressure line w/t fitting & oil pressure sensor still connected
all couplers & clamps
obd1 pr4 chipped w/chrome & setup 3bar map sensor, boostin 15psi

So what do you all think thanks. Oh and would this be a direct plug and play or are their parts missing?

way overpriced, xs has been known for shoddy reliability in the past (although ppl have said they are better now..), and that turbo will blow its shaft at 15+ psi.

XS power = Crap, please spend some real $$ on quality parts other then this crap. Garrett or Turbonetics or Prescision if you have the $$.

Thanks for the info just wonderinbg if it was a good deal for the 1300 or not , its for my girl so she was probably going to boost less then 10psi. thanks though.

no f**k that....1300 bucks is sad....go build ur own kit....way cheaper and way better...yet if u know nothin about turbos then its wise just to buy a kit just not that one lol....good luck

i was goign to do the homemade turbo kit, but decided to say f**k it adn im buying the 92-95 ex greddy kit

the xs power manifolds dont look bad, i had 2 sitting in the garge. the turbos i hear are what i heard go bad.

dude that turbo ITSELF is 1600.....no way...nice brand though and yes thats good ass turbo but for the price no....check garrett on ebay man....ebay is ur friend....just go here and start searchin for stuff like garrett, turbo kit, etc....

people who dont piece together there own kit are simply NUB...its the easier and cheaper then blowing 2k on some kit.

yeah dood ebay is your friend. i would have that motor checked out, i.e. leak down test. before you boost it.
