good deal for 3000...?

Well i swore up and down i would rather be burned alive than drive a Honda Civic... and then i got talked into it
My friend called me this afternoon(the one that talked me into buying a civic, hes got a 92 Si) saying he found me a coupe. i call him back and i think its a 93 with a b20 swap, gun metal grey and tinted windows was all he could tell me without looking at it. he has worked on civics for 8 years and says the swap is 3500. i know its not a lot of information at all, but im leaving in may to the army and i just want something to beat on till then.
What do you guys think?

Personally I say it is to much. I wouldn't pay much over 2k for it. What is the mileage on it? Trim level?

I did KBB for an EX in your area with 165k for mileage. In excellent condition showed up at $2100. So I would say 2k would be a fair price. Swap or not. Doesn't mater.

id pay a little more than 2k if the swap can be vouched for and the work was done right.
But that is the bottom trim level so expect roll up windows since its swapped its most likely no heat no ac etc

yahh it was a piece. lots of suspension problems. but it hauled ASS. dude said he ran 9.16s in it. funest test drive iv ever had. lol

9.16s? o.O Hiiiggghhhhlllyyyy doubt that. Has to be more than just a swap if its running that low...

Also aren't running any track that low without a roll cage and window net. Also need a parachute if it is running faster than 150 in the quarter, which if it is in the low 9's that is definitely possible.
