Hey guys. So i am not very knowledgeable when it come to the tuning side of Hondas. But i do have a 1997 Hx as a daily and i just picked up this little cutie on a trade. Any sugguestions or oppions are greatly appriciated, Good or bad let me know what you think. Here is a list of mods.

Well first put regular headlights in it till you can do a retrofit, then drive it for about a month or two months. make a list of what you don't like about the car, then start fixing those things. Once that's done repeat... Drive it. Make a list fix it lol.

Just do that till everything is how you want it.

What do you mean by doing a retrofit to the headlights? And thats kinda my plan to slowly fix everything along the way. It handles like a dream but its only stock, cut spring suspension. Plus need a little bit of body work. But overall i think its a pretty solid car?

Well my first fix would be the cut springs.

A retrofit means you put projectors in. They make the HID's 100% better for you and anyone driving towards you.

There is a sticky thread about the territory. And after reading about the cut springs I too would fix that first. If you have the money (or can handle saving the money) get KONI yellows with GC coils. If not then just get a set of eibach lowering springs, ( same company that make the springs for the GC kit.). And personally, worry about body work last unless its rust.

But yeah I think its a solid car. Mind if I ask how much you got it for.

Well technically i got it for free....I traded a jeep cherokee to someone who had too many kids and not enough doors. And i got the cherokee on a trade, from a wrangler i got from my dad when i was 16 so i have no money into it yet.

Man thats the body I wanted..... but I ended up with a ej6... got a sick deal at $100 thats the only reason I got it. I want to buy a coupe or hatchie like this, but sadly mom would kill me! Your car would be EXACTLY what I would want in a civic....

taluzer keep on looking and doing everyhting you can and one will show its head.

And 1sikcivic im not sure why the fuse box was left? I have never owned anything tucked or tucked anything. So im not sure where you would move it too?

i personally dont like tucked cars, because you never have any idea of were wires go, or if they did it properly, or use correct wire to extend them, yada yada...

plus i like having acces to all the plugs there to use if i have to trouble shoot something.

Yea they are glass spec-d headlights.
