Ok guys finally sorting out a B18c1 swap into my civic. Been quoted £4500. This includes cost of the engine (supplied direct from japan (low mileage......trustworthy company)) cost of shipping the eninge, all the bullshit tax we gotta pay over here and performing the swap. Is this a good price or do you think it should be cheaper.

Since most of the mebers are from the US i guess £5000 is probably about $8500 - $9000. So what do you think? Bear in mind stuff over here is f**kin expensive!!!

sorry guys but i think youguys misunderstood me, the cost INCLUDES the removal of my existing engine and fitment of the GSR so that it works perfectly. The cost which I have said is not for the engine alone!!!

An example of rip off prices:

Decah door conversion kit from UK garage - £1300 = about $2000 or more
Decah door conversion kit from US garage - $1200 = £750!!!!!!
