good reliable jack/jackstands?

whats a good reliable jack and jack stand that i could use for a long time without raping my wallet too badly

just the stands? I got two of them at autozone for about $15. they don't cost much.

Yeah, just go to Kragen or whatever, and buy the 3 ton if you have the space, and the 2 ton if you don't. It's totally worth the upgrade to the 3 ton though, my car is so low that the 2 ton won't fit under

don't go with a pepboys one the one i had the wheels popped off it and you couldn't even lift the car that high off the car it was REAL weak

craftsman, i just got 2 stands and a floor jack (2 1/4ton) and its perfect, warrenty as well, only $50 at sears

How about ones that will slide under a lowered car?

I don't want to have to jack up one side of the car before getting the jack under car the front of the car... it's a pain in the ass and the only other option is lifting the front end by hand.. which isn't possible by yourself.
