Good rods pistons and crankshaft for a y8 to handle power???

what are good pistons rods and crankshaft for taking a beating for a y8 but with in a reasonable price. i refuse to pay $400+ for rods. i mean yes they possably could be worth it. but i plan on starting a project then using as a DD. anyone have any advice?

Do you seach, or just start a new thread for every question? Not to be a d**k, but you pretty much just ask the same questions people have been asking since the late 90's, so you'll find lots of info on the web.

Eagle rods and Wiseco Pistons are always a good choice, they can be had with rings for around say $700.
