Ok I have this car I just bought for $400 and ima fix it up as a dd so I can turbo my ek. But the car won't rev past 3500 rpms and its throwing a code 8 and a code 17 which is speed sencor and tdc. I changed my ecu out and it started reving to 4000 rpms but its still jacked up throwing a code 19 and hesitates allot when ur trying to drive. I tried wiring in a obd1 dizzy and that's when I got the code 19,I think the ecu that I put in is an automatic. Could that be the problem? I took the odbd1 dizzy off and put the obd0 back on cuz it wouldn't start up with the obd1 on there,just threw the code 19.do I need a p28 to run t he obd1 dizzy? I know this is allot but I hope some1 can make some sence of it,pretty much I'm at a possible automatic ecm and reving to 4000 rpms and I havnt checked the code yet.but I think its still code 8 and 17
