Army MOS: Combat Ninja
So my wife took my car last night to visit a friend, and told me when she got back that she had experienced a bit of a stutter issue. I drove it the 80 miles to work, without any issue whatsover. But on the way home, it began to stutter and drive weird. I pushed in the clutch and it went to a normal idle, with no variance at all. No check light came on and as long as it wasn't under load, the car was driving as it should. I got back on the road and had no further issue until I got into slower speed zones, namely around 25 mph. In order to maintain that speed, the accelerator was depressed only an inch or so. This caused the car to start jumping and stuttering again, just like before. And just like before, as soon as I took the load off the motor it ran fine. I could rev it all the way up without any issue.
Its definitely a fuel issue, but to what extent I am unsure. The part that boggles my mind is that when the car is not under load, it idles fine and revs all the way up like it should. But if I am in a slower speed zone and have to maintain that speed, then the problem begins. Please also note that when it does stutter, if I bury my foot into the accelerator it comes alive and takes off like there is no issue at all. It's only at that one area that it does this...
