got the car back from bodyshop! new pics

so i got the car back on saturday from gettin the rust fixed. spent sat night/sun morning fixing header leak, changin wheels, and cleaning off all the leftover wax they didnt clean up. overall im pretty happy with the job. and here are the nice pics after i gave it some love!

looks soooo much better.

now the story. i drove her home from my bodyshop w/out a problem. then got some gas cuz she was hungry. when leaving the gas station, i heard some noises, sounded like a flat. so i pulled over when i had the chance (about 8 blocks from my house). check the tires, good. thought it was too low, so i raised it a bit. drove a bit and still the same s**t. got her home slowly, left her there, went to the car show (thread in photography lounge) and came back to work on her. tried to drive from my house to the garage (5 blocks). 1 block away from the garage, i was trying to turn and the car wasnt turning. pulled over and low and behold, i was missing 3 lug nuts. the only reason the wheel didnt fall was because the car was so low it was rubbin on the fender. im soooo f**king lucky. rethreaded 3 studs, and its all good again. im happy nothing bad happened. and later that night, a camry cut me off (missed me by like 1 inch) and almost made me hit the bridge rail. the end.

the overspray has been there since i bought the car... the only fixed area is the rear quarter panels from the rust... both got fixed and reprayed. im keepin the black sides and lips for now because it goes well with the car... gettin a mugen grill next and a new front lip... both stayin black for now.

lol... no books bro. im bigger now... not in height, just in fat, lol.

im thinkin of gettin the lips and moldings color matched, but im likin it how it is. besides, bodywork is expensive. so we will c. im picking up stuff for wifey's CRV now... so my car has to wait. the CRV is the main winter vehicle for work.

Yeah, body work is expensive. I think it looks good the way it is, so I wouldn't touch it if you don't have to. What do you plan on doing to the CR-V?

the lug nuts wasnt even their fault...

the shop was pretty good. got the car back in 4-5 days. price was originally 800... after some hassle and negotiation, it came to 700. im happy. what r u gettin done?

im cleaning it up tomorrow. for more pics.

the following is what im gonna get over winter:

-Intake

and hopefully, some nice wheels. right now we are in the process of gettin new couches and repainting the apartment, so it will come, but at the right time.

will do a photoshoot together, but after some parts are on the car.
