just a few for ya, pretty much i just want something bolt on, i dont' want to have to put new pistons or build up the main/rod bearings or anything like that, i've been told the b16 will take the greddy bolt on kit no probs, pretty much i want to hear some expierences from ppl that actually have it on the motor themselves, once i put the kit on i'll honestly only add maybe the fmic and the greddy bov, 2nd question do you have to have the i/c and bov to get it to run pretty good, and last so i dont' annoy the s**t out of anyone, what kinda power increase can i expect from that kit, and maybe a 1/4 time??? thanks in advance, and if you have any advice on other COMPLETE kits throw it out there, just remember the motor will be BONE STOCK w/ maybe exhaust

those kits are good but if your going to spend the money, spend it wisely and get a drag three kit. the money you will spend later for a fmic and bov you might as well get a complete kit.with a b16 you will be in the low 13's or high 12's
with the drag three kit. thats what i had in my eg. you need a bov, in dew time back pressure from the boost will hurt ur turbo. good luck on ur choice!

1/2 aint bad...

custom is cheapest. Greddy + junkyard < rev hard.

but yes, back pressure will damage your turbo and possibly internals. GET A BOV.

1/2 isnt bad but if a add a bov, a fmic, plus custom piping , it will be about 2k. and thats not including the bull sh#t you come across making thinks fit.

bov = $10 dsm from junkyard - $200 hks
fmic = $200 shipped from johnnyracecar.com
custom piping = $50 - $200 depending on if you make it yourself or have someone do it for you

by my calculations thats about $260 - $600.... where did you come up with $2000?

that was including the greddy turbo kit. all together it will be around 2000.00 . that why i said its better spending alittle more money and getting a complete kit.

the greddy kit for the 99-00 si is about the least bolt-on kit ever. Theres alot of cutting involved...if you keep the a/c you have to cut the fan shroud to get it to fit, plus if you dont want the turbo to be ass crooked off the manifold you have to shave the block down a little.

if u want to get the greddy kit, get it from ebay or www.city-speed.com cheapest is have seen out there. But it would be wise to get the bov and fmic.

those are some good prices, as for clutch its already got a stage 2 exxedy st/stp clutch in her, i never plan on going above 8 psi, and i've heard that the f/m that comes w/ it will support that, or at least last me untill i get enough $$$ to get a better one + tuning

you adjust the boost level on any turbo with a boost controller. I'm rockin the old school profec b, with the off, low, and high boost settings. When its off it just runs at the normal, pre-set boost level ~5 psi depending on the wastegate...
