greddy e manage?????/ greedy turbo kit

hey guys im runnin 5 psi on my 00 Si with the e manage , the car is fast but not that fast i was wondering how to get up the psi to about 8 that will be better, using a boost controller will help? or should i reprogram the e manage with someone who knows that s**t?

not sure about emanage, I know with AEM you can turn up the boost and the EMS makes the adjustments. I would retune just to be safe.

turn up the boost and see how it likes it. i know i just turned up the boost this morining from 3.6 psi to about 5.5 and the car seems alot better now. i am running a basemap that i found. i know its not the proper map and it needs to be tuned professionally but my wideband reads good and im not hearing any noises so itll be fine for now.

You can adjust the actuator on the wastegate to get more boost.

i wouldnt mess with the actuator imo, just get some cheap mbc on ebay, hook it up, turn up the boost, and retune ur emanage or get a chipped ecu then tune that. make sure u have big enough injectors to support ur extra boost as well. im runnin the greddy 15g kit (7psi stock) i turned it up to 10-11 psi with the voodoo mbc sold on ebay (30$) running chipped p28 on crome

4 dollar boost controller:

1 inch spring for 3/8 fitting=hardware store
3/8 male fitting=hardware store
3/8 female fitting=hardware store
ball bearing to fit 3/8 fitting=bicycle shop
hose clamps

connect your fittings to your vacuum source/ ball bearing toward firewall then spring
tighten and loose the fitting to adjust your boost (test drive to see where your boost is and then adjust it)
