Im about a month or two away from having enough money to order a full turbo kit from Greddy for my 99 Civic EX. Ive heard from numerious people that the intructions the kit come with suck and i was wondering if anybody knew of a site that had the full installation instructions. If this question has already been posted and answered then please give me the URL on the forum and ill take it from there. Also, the kit doesnt come with an intercooler. It says it can run at 8psi without damaging your engine. What if i bought a small intercooler later. How much more hp would that give, if any? Could i turn the power up more, safely? Thanks for the help.

im not sure where to find an online copy of an install for the greddy kit but all i can say is checkout www.turboD16.com and www.homemadeturbo.com and read up on all the parts that are involved in a turbo kit. once u understand all the parts then u'll know where everything goes.

pick up a cheap johnnyracecar intercooler. they are really cheap and effective.

goodluck with the boost!

www.turbocivic.com has the instructions you need, as well as the wiring diagrams for the emanage.

i wouldn't raise the boost without an intercooler. just run stock (6psi peak) until you are intercooled.

now, an intercooler will not give you any hp. all it does is cool down the aircharge, so that it is at a safe(r) temperature for your engine. please do realize that the larger the intercooler, the more pressure drop you'll experienec.. that is, your engine will get less PSI due to air having to flow through the i/c core. most regular sized front mounts (fmic) drop you a whopping 1 psi.
