hello, i want to buy a turbo, i know the drag turbo come whit a External wastegate to increase more pressure in the future,
( when i change my piston) and the greaddy turbo have a internal wastegate, that i can't increase pressure, i am right???... and the other think is that the DRAG kit have a more big turbo and the turbo lag is more than the small greaddy turbo, the difference between the TURBO lag FROM this two turbo kit is big?, or just a LITTLE bit more lag from the large drag turbo kit :S :S

by pressure you mean boost level (psi)? alright, you can change the pressure on both kits via a boost controller. The drag kit has the worst manifold due to its stupid stupid stupid location of the wastegate, (on only 1 runner). Ive been told that the drag kit gives you the most power, but only gives you that power in the top end. the greddy will give you more midrange power, thus better for everyday driving. If i were you, i would NOT buy either of them and go custom.

it sounds to me that you dont know much about turbos, that should tell you that you shouldnt buy a turbo at all. Learn more, read alot more, ask more questions!!! dont just buy a civic, toss in a turbo and call it a day, know what you are doing, know what you are buying, know how it all works. information and knowledge are your freinds.

oh by the way, its pistonS (i dont know why youd want to only change one =))

22 psi is a shitload of boost, and its doubtful you can run that much on any stock aftermarket kit. if you really want to run that much, you should put together your own kit. 2nd, a t3/4 on your stock b16 is gonna suck nuts, your powerband is gonna be about an inch wide, the rest is gonna be lag from the hugely oversized turbo. not to mention the drag has a very poorly designed manifold that cracks and has very poor wastegate placement taht causes boost spiking and boost creep. but since your really n00b, dont buy anything until you know what your talkin about. and yes, you can adjust boost with an interal wastegate.

i dont want to run 22psi, is TO MUCH!!, i was thinking about 12-15psi whit new piston, headgasket, etc. I know that T03/04 turbo IS TO BIG for a b16, but i need a turbo can make more than a 8PSI of boost, if the greaddy turbo can make more than 8psi, i will buy greaddy if it do that. my doubt is the greaddy can make more than 8psi (whit his internal WASTEGATE)...

AND THE FMAX TURBO KIT, is the same that DRAG KIT????

GREADDY SMALL TURBO = LESS LAG = MORE THAN 8psi???
DRAG KIt = BIG TURBO = MORE LAG = 0 to 22psi!!

holy s**t....go back to elementary school and learn to talk properly, then go to highschool and learn to type, then go back to gradeschool and learn to use puncuation, like commas.

1. its called pistonS
2. its called Greddy
3. Fmax is not the same as Drag
4. youre dumb

no to answer your question, the most boost you should run on your stock motor is 8-9 psi, which both are capable for. The Greddy kit performs better at 8-9 psi than the drag. Dont be fooled that huge numbers and huge turbos mean better, they dont. You can increase boost pressure with the Greddy kit via boost controller, which is exactly the same thing youd have to do on the drag kit, get a boost controller to increase boost.

heres my best advice to you, dont buy a turbo kit, in face sell your car all together and buy a bicycle, because you dont know s**t about turbos, and if that carries over to your knowledge of cars, you shouldnt be in one.

i think you have been watching too much of the fast and furious movies. honda motors are not made to handle that much boost psi because of its high rev and compression motor. to boost at 22 psi, you have to put in atleast $10k in the motor. anything over 10psi, you will need more then pistons to make your motor run safe and last.
