Greetings ClubCivic,

I am new to the whole custom cars and mods scene but am looking to get involved. I have yet to purchase my first car but have been eyeing the Honda Civic Si for some time now. Over time I'd like to replace all the stock parts with performance/racing ones and eventually add a turbo and do some body work and alter the car's appearance. I'd like to share the progress of this project with all of you and when the time comes, call upon you for your advice, expertise, and stories.

FYI, your Si is our EX. You may be thinking about the SiR which is our Si (with the B16A2 swap). Either way, welcome to the scene and hope we can help you learn! Feel free to search around as well. A lot of questions have been covered countless times.

Hi...your plans sound pretty good..I'm in the same boat as you just waiting til the perfect car crosses my path so i can start my build..but i do own a civic its just my daily driver..I would say start out by looking into "your build/project car" section of the forum just to get a taste of whats out there and whats "Cool" to this generation of civic lovers....once you start seeing stuff you'll find out whats your taste...but welcome

Which Si are you referring to? Like John said the USDM Si's are equivalent to Canada's SiR, and the USDM EX's are equivalent to Canada's Si. Unless you mean a different generation...
