grill removal

this may sound dumb but i cant get my stock grill off to replace it with the civic type r grill, what am i doing wrong?

you have a 96 so you have to take the whole bumper off, then you'll be able to take the grill off the bumper, but its not as hard as it sounds

if its a 96-98 civic take the bumper off first.. its easy..

there is one screw on each side attaching it to the fender, i think ~6 on the top, and 2 bolts on the bottom.

man good thing i asked before i gave it a good tug, or else i would have freaked it all up.
