i did that too... made my own grill... it looks sooo much better than the stock crap with the big H ... DO IT!!!
doesnt really take that long... mine took me like 2 hours, but I messed up a few times and had a couple problems to work around with tools, I bet it would take an hour or so the 2nd time around. If you actually do it, I suggest not using glue. instead, take the gutter guard and use the screws that hold the black part to the colored frame and screw the top of the gutter guard down with that. Its plenty of hold it up, and it makes the bottom fit a lot better into the bumper if you dont glue it. I used glue the first time around, but ended up taking it off and ripping all the hot glue off and using the screws.Originally posted by Zak8022

rear, yes. front, no. the front has different hood, grill, quarter panels, bumper, and lights.Originally posted by Kaedace
Would an 99-00 SI front and rear bumpers fit on a 96 civic ex ? Or at least the rear cause the headlights are a bit different.
unless you really look hard at it, i cant tell the difference... like anything over 3 feet away it looks the same, especially since i spray painted my mesh black before i put it inOriginally posted by anfrey
that type r grille says "type r" on it. my car isn't a type r.
but i somewhat agree.... because, imho, honeycomb > mesh
